Abstract

Yersinia pseudotuberculosis is a rare Gram-negative bacillus that cause enterocolitis and terminal ileitis. We report the first Danish case with Y. pseudotuberculosis multiple pyogenic liver abscess presenting with six weeks intermittently fever, fatigue and weight loss. The patient was successfully treated with percutaneous drainage and intravenous piperacillin/tazobactam and oral ciprofloxacin.
