Dr. Moonyoung Chung
Dr. Moonyoung Chung was born in Seoul, South Korea on 27 Dec. 1979. He graduated from the CHA University, College of Medicine in Feb. 2005, and he was certified as a licensed Medical Doctor in South Korea at that time. After the certification, he worked at the CHA University, Bundang Hospital, Seongnam, South Korea as a trainee doctor. Internship was completed between Mar. 2005 and Feb. 2006. Residency as a Neurosurgeon was held at the same hospital between Mar. 2006 and Feb. 2010, and he became a specialist of neurological surgery at Feb. 2010. During the residency, he completed his Master of Medicine degree at CHA University in Feb. 2010. He worked as a chief of department of neurosurgery in the Taebaek Hospital of Minister of Health and Welfare between April 2010 and April 2013 for completion of obligation duty of national defense of South Korea. For subspeciality of Functional Neurosurgery, fellowship training was held in Incheon St. Mary’s Hospital, the Catholic University of Korea between May 2013 and Feb. 2016. Dr. Moonyoung Chung is the Assistant Professor of Department of Neurosurgery in Soonchunhyang University Bucheon Hospital from March 2016.
