Dr Jamie I. Cross is a Senior Lecturer and the Program Director of the Graduate Diploma of Flight Management at Griffith University, Australia. Jamie flew for a European airline before relocating to Dubai to join Emirates as an instructor. He then worked as an aviation consultant for several years, engaged by leading flight schools, universities, and major airlines to design and deliver training content. He specializes immersive technologies, pilot training, risk management and advisory boards, and is currently conducting research on the use of virtual reality for ab-initio, commercial and military pilot training.
