Martin Coath is an Associate Lecturer at Plymouth University, a freelance scientist, science communicator, computer programmer and musician. He divides his time between writing, research, teaching and sharing his enthusiasm for science and encouraging everyone to think about it's place in our lives and society.
He has worked on a number of major national and international research projects and published over 20 papers on neuromorphic modelling, auditory processing and, very recently, science education.
He has a track record of working with a wide range of interest groups, in the media, and in schools. He is passionate about the importance of engaging everybody, particularly young people, with science and engineering and tries his best to be entertaining!
