On the error analysis of generalized Schwarz parallel algorithm for a
class of elliptic variational inequalities
Abstract
In this work, we study a parallel Schwarz method for a class of elliptic
variational inequalities. The domain is split into m sub-domains with
overlapping nonmatching grids. The principal result of this
investigation is to prove the error estimate in L∞-norm, making use of a
geometrical convergence, and the uniform convergence.
