Abstract

When new members join a group of any kind, there is an immediate decrease in productivity regardless of profession or experience of the newcomer. The current methods of the transfer of knowledge that allow the new member to thrive are not sufficient and have much room for improvement. A new tool must be created that allows for easy dictation of an entry and searchability of an entry. With the abundant methods used in writing notes (copying documents online, handwritten or highlighted, drawn or sketched, photographed, audio and video recording) all options must be taken into consideration. A digital platform must be created to facilitate these needs certain software's and websites are currently available but they are too bulky to address the fundamental need for incidental knowledge exchange. Creating a central location for all personnel to view and edit their collective incidental knowledge will promote uniformity and camaraderie as everyone learns from each other openly.
