I’m an aspiring physician-scientist with a strong interest in combining computer science and neuroscience to contribute effectively to the realm of translational/clinical neuroscience research to combat various neural diseases.
For the last 3+ years, I’ve been contributing to various projects with different primary investigators between Loyola University of Chicago, Loyola's Stritch School of Medicine, and Ann & Robert H. Lurie's Children's Hospital of Chicago. The work I have been fortunate enough to be a part of spans many different realms of neuroscience. Personally, I think the work is best used when we are working on the translational aspect: bringing the research out of the academic community and applying it in the clinical setting.
