Preecha Yupapin

Preecha Yupapin received the B.Ed. degree in physics from Srinakarinwirote University, Thailand, the M.Sc. degree in applied mathematics from Mahidol University, Thailand, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the City University of London, U.K., in 1981, 1983, and 1993, respectively. He is currently the Professor and a Principal Research Scientist in the Computational Optics Research Group (CORG), Advanced Institute of Material Science (AIMaS) and Faculty of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Prof. Yupapin is a member of Thai Institute Physics (TIP), South East Asia Theoretical Physics Association (SEATPA) committee, South East Asian Collaboration for Ocean Renewable Energy (SEAcORE) committee and Optical Society of America (OSA). He has 300 ISI published papers, H-index-25. His current researches of interest are transparent electronic devices and circuits, microring resonator, naked-eye 3D imaging, soliton, optical motor, quantum and spintronic devices.
