In this mini-project I test the idea whether young people are most likely to commute by bike compared to older ones. To do so, I formulate a hypothesis to compare the ratio of bikers on weekends over weekdays, for two different age groups. I present plots describing the data, and perform a z-test of proportions to test whether the hypothesis stands or not. Additionally, to test the robustness of the result, the same analysis is performed for a month in a different season of the year. The results of both analyses are consistent. Finally, the effect size between the age categories is calculated.
