Acute B-type aortic dissection with bilateral lower limb ischemia is
classed as the conditions that require emergency intervention. Herein, a
40-year-old male patient with acute B-type dissection is reported. The
true cavity of the descending aorta was severely compressed by the false
cavity with left iliac artery stenosis and right iliac artery occlusion.
After emergency intervention was carried out using the Castor branching
aortic stent, the true lumen was re-opened, the blood flow of both lower
extremities was restored and the function of distal limb was preserved,
thus extending the application for aortic interventional therapy and
making emergency interventional therapy safer.
