more dynamic entities. The dynamism of the academic library, in the second
decade of the 21st century, is illustrated by the continuous adoption of new
philosophies to ensure relevance, effectiveness and efficiency. The library has
moved from the “pull philosophy”, that is, drawing the users into the physical
entity and rendering a service to those that are in the library to the “push
philosophy”, that is, taking the library to the users.<br></div>
