\textbf{The problem:} unlike Zotero and Mendeley (which Authorea easily integrates with, \href{https://www.authorea.com/users/9932/articles/19323/_show_article}{by the way}), EndNote does not export BibTeX format as a standard. You can, however, download the appropriate output style \href{http://endnote.com/downloads/style/bibtex-export}{\textbf{here}}.
Once you have loaded the BibTeX add-on, follow along
below: below (\textbf{note:} you may have to manually put the Export BibTeX style into your EndNote style folder).
Through the Edit drop-down menu, go to Output Styles > Open Style Manager...
