Unlike previous methods where a person is writing on a tablet and the voice is recorded over the video, or where an instructor attempts to write on a whiteboard but ends up with their back facing the camera, a transparent whiteboard allows the instructor to face the camera in a more natural and inviting way. By facing the camera and the viewer, we believe that this makes a more personal connection between the viewer and the instructor. We believe this will make the videos more engaging for students and improve retention of the course material. With the addition of some video editing software, it is even possible to overlay pictures and video over the recording, enhancing even further the viewing experience.   \subsection*{Scalability}  Initially, there would be one Lightboard located in XXXXXXXXX building, with access open to those who need it  \subsection*{Adaptability}  What can be more adaptable than a blank slate? A foundation upon which anyone who wishes to convey information can use to build a pedagogy to do so. (This is way to much like a freshman business student trying to sound motivational for a project). The Lightboard by its nature is essentially just as adaptable as a white board in any of the classrooms found on campus. Engineering professors may spend 75 minutes writing equations and solving problems, while Math professors my prove different theories and lemmas for their students. Social Sciences might utilize the board to organize group discussions and layout foundations for group discussions, and Business Professors can explain the statistical theories which govern economical trends. The question really becomes, what can you not do with a whiteboard?
