Due to various conditions the
XPatches in some cases fell off due to excessive sweating or were pulled off
during the match. In some cases, these patches were never found. Various
methods were employed to increase the adhesion of the XPatch over the duration
of the match competition season with extra adhesive on the skin or an extra
adhesive encapsulating the sensor onto the skin. Consequently the data was
either incomplete for the match duration or were missing completely from the
dataset. As a result the data reported was incomplete and the number of impacts
would be more than have been reported.
