Occipital activity is present in both hemispheres. At the time of the first peak activity (88 ms, figure \ref{fig_data1_peak1}), no evident lateralization of the activity can be observed but, especially at the time of the second peak activity (130 ms, figure \ref{fig_data1_peak2}), more activity in the left hemisphere can be observed. Especially the left temporal lobe, including its ventral parts, seems to be more active in comparison to the right temporal lobe. This could be, in theory, explained by activation of the visual ventral stream.
Dominant activity of test subject’s left hemisphere in comparison with its right counterpart suggests that the source visual stimuli was more abundant in the test subject’s right visual field.
