\section{Pre-positioning of emergency supplies for disaster response}  Rawls and Turnquist \cite{Rawls&Turnquist2010} present a emergency response prepositioning planning tool for locating and storage of emergency supplies prior to incident and distribution of supplies to demand points after the onset of the disaster. Considering uncertainty in demand for stocked supplies and transportation network availability, the authors formulated the model as a two-stage stochastic scenario-based MIP problem that minimizes expected costs of facility setup, stock procurement, inventory holding, distribution and unmet demands over all scenarios. In their model first stage decisions incorporate locating and sizing storage facilities as well as stocking decisions for various types of supplies; for the second stage decisions made upon distribution of supplies on a specific realization of a scenario.   For solving the problem, an adaptation of the Integer Langrangian L-Shaped heuristic is utilized, and evaluation of the model in carried out on a case study on preparedness for hurricanes in the South-eastern United States. The case study involve 30 nodes and 55 58  links and results showed up to 31% 31\%  reduction in term of computational time of proposed method over a commercial solver, with a 0.7% 0.7\%  tolerance for optimal solution.
