\subsection{Data Collection and Preparation}  Samples were collected by capturing the gestures of each user from grade levels 7, 9, 10 and Alternartive Learning System (ALS) Students from both public and private schools. Before the samples were collected, the researchers ensure that the users were willing to participate with the process through the user of a Consent to Participate Form for data collection (see Appendix \textbf{G}. Their rights, private data, and other information were guaranteed to be preserved and protected by the study. By the start of the data collection process, the researchers invited 15 random grade school students to perform a specific set of gestures. The researchers would like to capture what certain point coordinates would each user have for every gesture made. The point coordinates came from the tracked features specified by the researchers as part of the gesture recognition process. Each gesture was repeatedly made for three different rounds (See Appendix A for the gestures).\\During those process, the point coordinates of each user are recorded into separate text files that was used by the researchers as basis for collision detection for the testing phase of the system. The gathered data were processed as part of the data set through pre-processing. The pre-processing included determining the mean through which the range of point coordinates per detected joint could be accounted for recognizing each gesture. After pre-processing, the initially gathered data are then summarized into the following ranges of values. The values per gesture come from the deduction of half of the deviation to the average of every joint for the minimum accepted value and adding them up to come up with the maximum accepted value. All of the data are collated into a .csv file. A total of 315 gesture joint data with x, y, and z-coordinates were collected from the procedure.
