\subsubsection{Data Collection} Collection and Preparation}  One data collection scheme is implemented. The collection involved gathering of data needed to be able to design the model that will be used as basis for improving the overall functionalities of the game in the study. The model can be used to develop a prototype which is expected to have implemented the collision detection, data processing, feature extraction, and skeletal and motion tracking capabilities of the Kinect sensor that derives only the needed information which is the hand gesture and disregard every other joints.    A group of 10-15 different users with varying physical characteristics such as height, size, age, and gender were asked to use the Kinect. With this the users were asked to perform a hand gesture similar to a specific hand gesture specified by the researchers. The users will do the hand gesture for 3 rounds. Every gesture made per round is equivalent to a different record from the data set. Prior to allowing the researchers to post a certain guideline for the hand gestures that the users are expected to perform in front of the Kinect sensor, the respondents made an agreement to the researchers through a consent form.    Seven different hand gestures were performed by the users:  \begin{enumerate}  \item Hand movement to the right with palm facing upwards and hands coiled like holding a net  \item Hand movement to the center with palm facing upwards and hands coiled like holding a net  \item Hand movement to the left with palm facing upwards and hands coiled like holding a net  \item Feet movement forward closer to the sensor with same hand movements as mention above  \item Hand movement with palm facing downwards and hand coiled like holding a net  \end{enumerate}    In this data collection procedure, the speed, motion and stroke of the user's hand were acquired by the Kinect and made part of the data set. The joints except the hands segment that were recognized by the Kinect sensor were active but will be disregarded in the model building stages entirely. These will basically be used for future references should there be observations, clarifications that might arise leading to the discovery of possibly new insights, or computations as part of the projectile model in the study. \\    The users submitted their compiled data set files into a drive where the researchers will be compiling all these together. From this point, the data will be processed to fit for the model.\ \
