\subsection{Theoretical Framework}
The gesture-based game developed implements a projectile model and collision detection algorithm based on Kinect principle. Given only the Kinect and projectile model, the study can already be feasible. However, with the Kinect's motion sensing issues as seen and further discussed in the background of the study and chapter 2, the use of collision detection has improved the overall performance of the Kinect's gesture recognition. Thus, increased the overall performance and accuracy of the
gaming game play environment.
