## Variation across brain areas  Some patterns of variation across brain areas were consistent across incubation times and tissue thicknessess (Figure 4). For example DL was consistently higher than other brain areas, VV tended to be one of the lowest, with DM intermediate between the two. However the patterns seemed to be most robust with low within brain area variation and high between brain area variation, in  30uM tissue stained for 60 min (Figure 4: row 2, column 2).
