Figure 2 - Normalized pre-post EEG power, frequency and coherence for 1mA tDCS compared to sham stimulation shows; a) significant increase of the mean power in the Gamma frequency band under C3, the anodal stimulating electrode; b) a significant increment of faster activity around the anode (stimulating) electrode (C3, F3) with a decreased mean frequency in the Alpha band near the return electrode (P4); and c) significantly increased mean coherence in the fastest frequency bands (Beta2, Gamma) and SMR under the stimulating electrode (C3), the symmetrical location in the other hemisphere (C4) and the vertex (Cz). The scalp maps and the if first row indicate the normalized feature (percentage change from PRE to POST stimulation) for Sham; the scalp maps at the middle row indicate the normalized feature for Active (1mA), and the  lower map provides the p-value (Wilcoxon test) of comparison between  Sham vs. active and Active  (1mA) stimulation.
