\section{Distant Publishing as Concept}  In order to define the concept of \textit{distant publishing }it is first instructive to understandthe concept of  \textit{distant reading}as a construct  within the current domain area context  of digital humanities. \textit{Distant reading} was first codified in 2000 and later in the monograph of the same name \cite{Moretti_2013} by noted humanist and scholar Franco Moretti. Moretti defines \textit{distant reading} as: \begin{quote} Distant reading: where distance . . . is a condition of knowledge: it allows you to focus on units that are much smaller or much larger than the text: devices, themes, tropes – or genres and systems. And if, between the very small and the very large, the text itself disappears, well, it is one of those cases when one can justifiably say, less is more. \cite{Moretti_2000}  \end{quote}
