Replace this text with your caption J=6 intensity compared to the MW-template estimated cold intensity. For most galaxies, the warm CO emission, as traced by the J=6 transition here, is not a strong function of the intensity of the cold component. However, NGC 6946 does show a clear positive correlation between its cold and J=6 CO intensity.
