\section{The Octopus code}  Octopus was started in 2003 2002  in the group of professor Angel Rubio at the University of the Basque Country in San Sebastian, Spain (or Donostia, as the city is called in the native Basque language). The main feature of Octopus is real-time TDDFT propagation, a method that have been recently proposed at the time for the calculation of excited states properties. This method has now been implemented in several electronic structure packages \cite{Schleife_2012,Schleife_2014,Walter_2008,Meng_2008,Ren_2010} and used for different types of calculations \cite{Alonso_2008,Andrade_2009}.
