``Stitching'' the LDA exchange potential. Shows the three branches $B_1\ldots B_3$ of the cube root of the density corresponding to a wavefunction with the usual asymptotic form $\exp(i p x \mathrm{e}^{i \theta})$. The stitched curve is obtained by joining the three complex branches, forming a continuous and analytic function. xxx
