Method \section{Method}  \begin{enumerate}  \item Set up Burettes with required chemicals:   \end{enumerate}  \begin{itemize}  \item Potassium Iodide, 1M  \end{itemize}  \begin{itemize}  \item Potassium Peroxidisulfate Peroxidisulfate, 0.04M  \end{itemize}  \begin{itemize}  \item Sodium Thiosulfate Thiosulfate, 0.01M  \end{itemize}  \begin{enumerate} \item A 100cm3 100cm\textsuberscript{3}  volumetric was used to measure out 100cm3 100cm\textsuberscript{3}  of Potassium Iodide, 1M. This was then diluted with distilled water to give 0.5M. This process was repeated to obtain a 0.25M solution. The two solutions were then placed in clean conical flasks, and sealed with bungs till required.\end{enumerate}  \begin{enumerate}  \item A clean 100cm3 100cm\textsuberscript{3}  volumetric was used to measure out 100cm3 100cm\textsuberscript{3}  of Potassium Peroxodisulfate, 0.04M. This was then diluted with distilled water to give 0.02M. This process was repeated to obtain a 0.01M solution. The two solutions were then placed in clean conical flasks, and sealed with bungs till required.\end{enumerate}  \begin{enumerate}  \item Test tubes were set up according to the required experiment (See table 1). For solutions in the conical flasks, pipettes of the required volume were used to ensure accuracy. Throughout the experiment, volumes were measured at eye level to remove any chance of parallax error. Only one experiment was carried out at a time, with 3 repeats being taken.   \end{enumerate}  \begin{enumerate}  \item For the experiments with a specified temperature, the test tubes were placed in a water bath at the desired temperature, and allowed to heat up till they reached that temperature. This was measured using a thermometer  \end{enumerate}  \begin{enumerate}  \item The tubes were mixed together, using a clean stirring rod to ensure they were completely mixed. The timer was started as they were mixed together, and stopped once they turned blue, with results being recorded.   \end{enumerate}  \begin{enumerate}  \item If the results were not concordant, then they were repeated to ensure that reliable results were obtained  \end{enumerate}  \begin{enumerate}  \item The chemicals were disposed of according to the risk assessment.  \end{enumerate}
