# Future Directions  #### #  2-D Stimuli We would like to test the DSTRF model on higher dimension stimuli to understand higher dimension responding from neurons (Nagel & Doupe 2008; Theunissen et al., 2000). Stimuli such as bird songs which exist in a 2-D stimulus space and the DSTRF method may allow us to understand how neurons in specific regions would behave to random, non-random, and natural stimuli.
