Motivated by this open-ended situation, this project aims to investigate carrier transport of bilayer graphene in its CDW state. Such an investigation is expected to provide valuable insight into some of the finer details of CDWs, its intricate connection to spin density waves (SDWs) and superconductivity, as well as enabling an at least semi-quantitative investigation of charge transport characteristics of the CDW ground state of bilayer graphene. The end-goal of such an investigation is to see whether or not it will be possible to have a sensor based on the CDW phase transition. Also, such an investigation can lead to deeper intuition about CDW states, which will in turn allow the suggestion of time-resolved dynamics experimental schemes that will serve to shed light into CDWs.
