We plotted anode voltage as a function of accelerating voltage. voltage for both neon and argon.  The curve comes curves come  out as we expected. In order to see where the dip occurs, dips occur,  we took the derivative of each point and plotted the derivative as a function of accelerating voltage in the same figure. voltage.  We identified the dip dips  by looking at where does the derivative curve across X axis with a positive slope. We then plotted the spacing between two dips as a function of the dip order.
