We plotted anode voltage as a function of accelerating voltage for both neon and argon. The curves come out as we expected. In order to see where the dips occur, we took the derivative of each point and plotted the derivative as a function of accelerating voltage. We identified the dips by looking at where does the derivative curve across X axis X-axis  with a positive slope. We then plotted the spacing between two dips as a function of the dip order.
