{\bf Single-variant approach:} Figure 1
demonstrates shows the Manhattan plot of results
of p values from Fisher's exact test. The red vertical
dash dashed lines represent the disease risk region, and the
vertical dash horizontal dashed line corresponds to the significant threshold after Bonferroni correction. In our example dataset, Fisher's exact test does not localize the peak
signal since the peak signal signal, which is distal to the disease risk region.
