\subsection{Single-variant approach}  Figure 1 2  shows the Manhattan plot of single-variant association result from Fisher's exact test. We determined whether there was an association between SNV and disease outcome using Fisher's exact test at each SNV position. There are few peak signals in this region but these high signals are distal to the disease risk region.
