\label{fig:JohnsonSetUp} From left to right: 1) Low Level Electronics (LLE). This instrument provides the \(\textrm{R}_\textrm{in}\) (the \(10\textrm{k}\Omega\) and \(1\textrm{k}\Omega\) resistors in this experiment) and an initial gain, G1, when using \(\textrm{R}_\textrm{f}=1\textrm{k}\Omega\) that amplifies the signal to a big enough voltage for the High Level Electronics (HLE). 2) High Level Electronics. The high pass and low pass filters of this instrument provides a bandwidth frequency (\(\Delta f\)) which will eliminate all parts of the incoming signal that are out of that frequency range. Then, the filtered signal is again amplified by G2. Finally, the signal goes through a multiplier. 3) Only the upper right DMM was used in this experiment, with which the final signal, \(\textrm{V}_\textrm{mult}\) was read.
