the factor of 10 does NOT come from the G1 and G2 amplifiers. It comes from a x$\frac{1}{10}$ multiplier (or, if you wish, a x$10 V$ divider) that divides the output of the multiplier (in Volts squared) by 10 Volts before sending the signal on to the BNC connector for the multimeter.
