PLEASE CHECK YOUR NOTES. } (I'm asuuming that by now you have learned to make an entry in your notebook regarding the circuit you used, so that you and your readers can verify what you did). The transimpedance amplifier arrangement is superior to the voltage-follower arrangement, for the reasons discussed on page 3-10 . Which one you used makes a difference in terms of systematic error at low currents. For example, if for some reason you did set up the measurement using a voltage-follower, you might get similar results for measurements at high currents in the presence of light but not for the residual noise in the absence of light .
