Because WIMPs are the most probable candidate for dark matter, astronomers and physicists are on the hunt to prove they exist. There are multiple different experiments being done in order to determine whether these particles exist and could be the source of dark matter. For this report, I will be focusing of three different experiments: two looking for direct detection (CDMS and DAMA) and one looking for indirect detection.
