As I found from the analysis of galaxies, the M/L ratio is $18.10$ and the IMF produced a value of $1.30$, this clearly shows that stellar material only a contributes a small amount of mass to the total galaxy. It is now clear that galaxies are not made up of only or primarily stellar material, there is something else in the galaxy that is contributing mass, but not luminosity. Astronomers call this "dark matter" because it is not luminous and can not be detected
by using
