Voltage from the oscilloscope is on the y-axis and time is on the x-axis.  YOU MENTION THAT THIS CAN BE FIT TO A GAUSSIAN (OR A CONVOLUTION OF A GAUSSIAN AND A LORENTZIAN) BUT DON'T ACTUALLY SHOW EITHER FIT NOR EXPLAIN WHY ONE CAN SUBSTITUTE FOR THE OTHER. ADDING A FIT TO THIS FIGURE SEEMS TO BE NEEDED. THANKS! Finally, it is NOT acceptable to have unlabeled axes. An editor would reject the paper immediately and send it back without review.
