Voltage from the oscilloscope is on the y-axis and time is on the x-axis.  YOU MENTION THAT THIS CAN BE FIT TO A GAUSSIAN (OR A CONVOLUTION OF A GAUSSIAN AND A LORENTZIAN) BUT DON'T ACTUALLY SHOW EITHER FIT NOR EXPLAIN WHY ONE CAN SUBSTITUTE FOR THE OTHER. ADDING A FIT TO THIS FIGURE SEEMS TO BE NEEDED. THANKS!
