\par Franck-Hertz curve recorded for Mercury atoms at a single temperature. Again "V" is the measured anode current, converted to an output voltage using a current preamplifier. This graph shows the changing of the mercury data. The blue line is the actual Mercury data, the green line shows the quadratic fit of the original Mercury data, and the orange line is the original Mercury data with the quadratic fit subtracted.
