\section{Experimental Details}
Data was obtained for the monatomic gases Neon, Argon, and Mercury using a graphing software called DANA, which is directly linked to the output of the Keithley 2100 multimeter (measuring $V_{acc}$) and the Keysight 34465A multimeter. The Keysight 34465A multimeter was used to monitor the output current of the electron beam after it was translated into a voltage ($V_{out}$). The remaining analysis will be split into three separate sections, for the three elements respectively.
