The  census data, 5-year age group population estimates by sex from 2000-2015, was obtained from the Spatial Data Repository of the U.S. Census Bureau. The estimates, presented as a shapefile, are based on population data from Cambodia's most recent available census (source 1), united_states_census_bureau_census_2015,  and calculated using the Iterative Proportional Fitting method ( source 2).
Datasets  containing household sizes, percentage of households with electricity, travel time to the closest health facility were obtained at a district level for year 2010 from Open Development Cambodia (source 3), open_development_cambodia_datasets:_2015,  which is an NGO conceived by East-West Management Institute in 2015 with the goal of providing accurate Open Data on Cambodia's social and economic development.  The total domestic violence on women and neo-mortality rate were obtained for 2010 from the same source but at a province level.
The household sizes were derived from the census while the percentage of households with electricity was obtained from the EAC, Electricity Authority of Cambodia.
The travel time to the closest health facility was obtained as a raster, ranging from more than 180 minutes from the closest health facility to less than 15 minutes. The domestic violence on women dataset contains the number of reported cases of violence on women per province. Finally the neo-mortality rate is the count of new-born dead during the first 28 days per 1000 new-born living.
The spatial reference system for the datasets is the Transverse Mercator projection WGS1984 UTM Zone 48N.
