\section{Conclusion}  This paper demonstrates the theory and methodology of automated roaf road  safety analysis using computer vision and surrogate safety measures ands and  presents a microscopic case study of behaviour of a single pair of road users as well as an overview of behavioural study at a single site. The results of the full study over all 600 hours of video will be the subject of future papers.
