**METHODS**
Cells were grown on STUFF
Cell morphology and presence/absence of flagella was examined by light microscopy (???) and transmission electron microscopy. Cell were negatively stained (GET METHODS HERE, THERE WERE TWO KINDS). Growth was not observed under microaerophilic conditions so true anaerobic growth was not tested.
Requirement for NaCL and tolerance of NaCL levels was tested (TECAN). pH was tested in the same manner (RANGES)
Catalase and oxidase activities were observed (SAME AS CLASSIC?)
BIOLOG STUFF HERE (NOT RESULTS)
Cells were grown in 1L of LB at 23C for biomass production required for fatty acid methyl ester, polar lipid, and respitory lipoquinone analyses. Cells were lyopholized and send to the ????? (DSMZ) for these analyses (DETAILS HERE).
