Exposing the live equation to visual scrutiny allows for easier scrutiny of edge cases, dimensionality concerns and building better intuitions about the underlying mathematical objects. Maybe discuss GeoGebra briefly here, explain we are only interested in web components and desktop solutions are largely out of scope.
