Idea here: facilitate the understanding of the full result, not just a static snapshot of one notable data window. Exposing the live equation to visual scrutiny allows for easier examination of edge cases and building better intuitions about the underlying mathematical objects.   Maybe discuss GeoGebra GeoGebra\cite{Venema_2009}  briefly here, explain we are only interested in web components and desktop solutions are largely out of scope. We give an example in Flot\cite{flot} and Bokeh\cite{bokeh}.
