HTML pages are designed to be infinitely scrollable. However, this is clearly not the case in printable PDF documents, and if you want your tables to display nicely on a paper page you need to take
precations precautions against vertical overflow early. A simple solution is to use the \verb|{longtable}| environment instead of \verb|{tabular}|, which will auto-break the pages for you, when exporting to PDF.
