The base of the machine, where the switch activation frame, the servo motors for moving the switch activation frame, and the LED presence illumination system is mounted. Note the cardboard shades mounted on the underside of the sensor array for keeping the wells separate from eachother. Also note the grooves cut into the switch activation frame for moving the switches and turning the candlelights on/off, as in Figure \ref{fig:SAF}. When inserted, the tray is seated ontop of the switch activation frame.
