The final design used three Power HD 3001 HB servomotors.  Assuming equal distribution of load between the three motors,   each was required to provide $0.225~\mathrm{N \cdot m}$. From the manufacturer's datasheet (see Appendix \ref{app:datasheets},   each servo supplies $0.30~\mathrm{N \cdot m}$, more than the maximum required.  This also gives an allowance for frictional losses in the mechanisms.
