\subsubsection{Analog Digital Conversion}
In order to detect the flickering lights as accurately as possible, analog to digital conversion was used. ADCON1 was configured to store a right-aligned conversion value, use only RA0 as the Analog port and to use Vdd for Vref+ and Vss for Vref-. Vdd was equal to 5 V and Vss was equal to 0 V, so this was the range of the analog digital convertor.
